Rooftop Maintenance Examples

How we prevent Rooftop issues

Take a look at many examples of our work.

Take a look at examples of all of our services along with before and after photographs. These are just a few examples of what we find and deal with on a daily basis. The examples also show, in most cases the drastic after photograph. As you can see in the examples we take pride in our work and leave your rooftop in great shape!

DEBRIS REMOVAL

High Inspectations removes any loose debris found on our clients rooftops from small screws up to disconnected abandoned units. This also includes any leaves, branches, etc. The reason we always remove loose debris is to avoid any of the said loose debris to move around and damage our clients roof membrane, other equipment on the rooftop or God forbid it falls off the rooftop. This debris clearing also ensures that the clients drainage systems don’t get clogged up by loose debris or leaves, which can be expensive repairs and create more issues throughout the neighboring drainage areas. Our debris removal services prevent unnecessary rooftop damage and limits liability of loose debris falling off the rooftop and damaging cars, property assets, and landing on people visiting your properties.

GUTTERS

Our crew upon each property visit will check all gutters. Having High Inspectations clear gutters on a reoccurring basis extends the life of all our clients roof systems. Without these services rooftop systems can get so clogged up that the rooftops can be damaged or even cave in due to the roof being over weighted by water, debris, etc.

Roof Drains & Downspouts

We check and clear all drainage systems, including but not limited to roof drains, downspouts, scuppers, etc. When these different drainage systems get clogged up they can create integrity issues not only for the drainage systems but also for the roof membrane itself. Without these services rooftop systems can get so clogged up that the rooftops can be damaged or even cave in due to the roof being over weighted by water, debris, etc.

PLANT REMOVAL

High Inspectations also removes/kills plant growths from our clients roof systems. So often when rooftops are not maintained well, plants will begin to grow on the rooftop. Furthermore, these roots can create roof leaks if not taken care of in time. High Inspectations will always assess the plants root system before removal and identify if removing the plant will damage the roof or not. If we identify the roots have grown into the roof membrane we then spray down the plant with environmental safe chemical and remove of it next time we service the property when it is for sure dead and safe for the roof membrane to remove.

Condensate Lines

High Inspectations is aware that drain lines are a tenant responsibility but so often tenants won’t maintain their drain line systems even if they know they are supposed to; which then can lead to rooftop systems to be hindered. What we do is reconnect, repair, extend and clear out clogged drain lines for our clients. The reason for these different drain line services is to avoid pooling water (which promotes water erosion or plant growth opportunities) and to avoid rusting/eroding your roof systems. Within our reports we are able to clearly identify what space and tenant was responsible for any drain line issues so that our client can easily utilize that information for enhanced tenant relations, back billing and increased rooftop system efficiency.

Rooftop

Enhancement

High Inspectations also conducts rooftop enhancement repairs. These are repairs that will enhance your roof system to work more efficiently. For example, if the downspouts are missing splash blocks we can install concrete splash blocks. This will prevent the water coming from downspouts to prematurely erode our clients asphalt. Another example is if a drain line is dumping into a gutter. That water is eroding the gutter quickly and forcing the owner to prematurely repair or replace gutters. When our crew identifies that on a clients rooftop they will propose to extend that drain line into the downspout and identify the tenant space so that you can bill back the tenant and route the water to dump directly into the downspout in turn extending the life of the gutters.
